the thing that makes hotd so fun is that there’s no jon snow types to bring the mood down with their fucking morals or whatever. it’s just all crazy bitches all the time.
To anyone questioning Daemons intentions – do you really think the dude would get that piss drunk if he didn’t have feelings? Feelings that would trigger remorse? Feelings that would trigger shame? Guilt? Confusion? Frustration?
He drinks himself into oblivion that night, to try and mask his feelings. We may never know exactly what went on inside Daemon’s head that night, and what specific feelings he has in this moment.
All I know is I wouldn’t immediately flee to go get blackout drunk if kissing someone didn’t mean anything to me. I could be wrong but…that’s how I interpret it.
i cannot even begin to emphasize how romantic signing off letters or postcards with “always yours” is. like… no one ever knows if they would be together forever. we love someone with the knowledge that they might not be in our lives in the future. we know we could fall apart. we still write “always yours”, because we mean to say, “hey, i know you might not be in my life forever, but you will have a part of me still. a part of me will be always yours to keep.” i need a moment
